Building Community! It’s more than warm fuzzies. During this interactive session attendees will explore the purpose of Class Meetings, implementation strategies and documents, sample activities, as well as how Class Meetings support of the foundational skills of Social Emotional Learning. All attendees will have access to a planning document and lesson plan to help in the implementation process. The information shared in this presentation is based upon the work of Lott, Nelsen and Glenn in their book Positive Discipline in the Classroom: Developing Mutual Respect, Cooperation, and Responsibility in Your Classroom.
